The life and death of a floodplain landscape

This visual documentary draws attention to the slow and silent death of the Sarine River (Switzerland) and its inhabitants. Due to the dam, there is too little natural flooding, which is central to a floodplain landscape. This allows algae to multiply unhindered and endangers flora and fauna.
